Great opportunities in arcades...

More and more contractors are discovering the great opportunities that are present in the arcade industry. One such story comes from Indianapolis, IN where a state-of-the-art arcade was constructed inside the Circle Center Mall. The United Artist Star Post features all of the newest, loudest Sega arcade games. Circle "B" Company sprayed 1" of K-13 Black on the ceiling and created a comfortable environment for those individuals playing games, and for mall patrons who would rather not hear the pounding decibels while shopping.

Another great story comes from Joliet, IL where a family entertainment center was built around an old metal building. The metal building served as the arcade, and the remaining grounds were transformed into a mini race track and a putt-putt golf area. The real problem arose when it rained and everyone would move inside. Noise from rain hitting the metal roof in addition to noise which already existed from video games made the arcade area too noisy. The solution to this problem was a 1½" application of Black K-13 applied by Home Energy Control.

The Pier 39 Arcade in San Francisco, CA is yet another example of the benefits of K-13 in the arcade environment. Pier 39 is an entire complex which includes restaurants, a theatre, shops and an arcade. The arcade was treated with 1½" of Black K-13 by Brunk Industries. This famous San Francisco attraction now provides enjoyment for all, without the annoyance of the blaring noise which is generated by the arcade area of the pier.
